To Whom it May Concern:

To compete at the highest level and perform your best, athletes need to train both physically and mentally. As a coach I feel I help my athletes improve mental toughness and reach their peak each time they step on the court. I help many junior and collegiate athletes remove ineffective attitudes, gain confidence, and perform better under pressure.  The upcoming tournament  gives our athletes an opportunity to put the mental toughness they have gained to use in a high level arena.

You have to believe in yourself and be positive all the time to play your best. Competition at the highest level helps athletes think better and stay focused so they can play their best.  This type of environment not only helps them on the court but in the classroom. As players compete at this level they realize how important grades are to reach their final goal of playing in college. This opportunity will not only help the player on the court, but off the court as a student athlete.

I appreciate, in advance, excusing the absence of this athlete as a chance to challenge herself as a student first, then an athlete.
