Preparing to Serve
Rotation 2 - serving, cp Scott Hammon 1999On the second rotation, the setter pushes up during the serve and sits behind the middle blocker and opposite setter.  The opposite setter and middle blocker will switch positions.  During the transition, the hitters back up and the setter slides into the setting position.

Preparing to Receive
Preparing to Receive - Position 2 - cp Scott Hammon 1999Preparing to receive requires little movement by the other players.  In the back court, the outside hitter and middle blocker both cover the back while the setter lines up right behind the opposite setter.  Once the ball is served, the setter quickly moves up to the setting position.
